Plastic drums come in a variety of sizes, ranging from 5 gallons to 55 gallons. They are available in different shapes, such as round, rectangular, and conical.
Used Dirty: The containers have been used for storing and/or transporting a good, but they have not been cleansed or rinsed
Used Rinsed: Barrels that have been rinsed and which may still contain the material originally held within them
Used Food Grade: A plastic drum that has previously been used for the transportation and/or storage of materials safe for human consumption.
Used Food Grade Rinsed: A plastic drum that has been rinsed that previously contained materials safe for human consumption.
Reconditioned: A plastic drum that has been professionally sanitized and leak tested by a registered professional in order to adhere to DOT (Department of Transportation) and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) standards.
Tight head drums are one-piece containers with a sealed top that cannot be removed which typically features 2" NPT and 2" inlets.
Open head plastic drum has an easy-open hinged cover that can be sealed and resealed multiple times while keeping the contents secure.
The most common type of plastic drum is the 55-gallon capacity barrel, which comes in a variety of sizes and shapes.
